Cattle Superior Video Auction for Friday May 17, 2013
Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 05/17/2013

Offerings: 31,100

   Trade and demand light to moderate.  Supply includes 72 percent feeder steers 
and heifers over 600 lbs, 52 percent of supply steers and 48 percent heifers.  
Receipts included 65 percent from South Central, 17 from North Central, 15
percent from East and 3 percent from West.  Prices FOB based on net weights 
after a 2-3 percent pencil shrink or equivalent, with a 3-6 cent slide on 
yearlings and 4-10 on calves.  Deliveries current through October 2013.

1200 head: All replacement cattle deliveries current through May, 2013. 

Replacement Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2: East 775 lbs 1110.00 per head.  

Bred Cows: Medium and Large 1: Northcentral: 1200 lb young-middle aged cows 4-5 
months bred 1225.00 per head. 

Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1: Northcentral; young to middle aged 1100-1400 
lb cows with 100-300 lb calves 1450.00-2050.00 per pair.  Southcentral: Young to 
middle aged 900-1400 lb cows with 100-200 lb calves 1585.00-2100.00 per pair.
