Superior Video Cattle Auction ***Final Report***
Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 02/02/2015

Offerings: 33,800                          Last Sale Jan 15-16th:  65,000

   Compared to the last sale January 16th:  Feeder steers and heifers traded 
mostly 5.00 to 10.00 lower.  Calves not fully established, but a lower undertone 
was noted.  Continued volatility on both the CME Feeder and Live cattle boards 
caused buyers to be very cautious.  Supply included 73 percent steers and 
heifers over 600 lbs, 62 percent of supply steers and 38 percent heifers.  
Receipts included 45 percent from South Central, 15 percent North Central, 4 
percent West, 36 percent East.  Prices FOB based on net weights after a 2-3 
percent pencil shrink or equivalent, with a 4-8 cent slide on yearlings and 8-12 
cent slide on calves.  Deliveries current through August 2015.

Bred Heifers:  Medium and Large 1-2: Current delivery: South Central: 875 lbs 
6-8 months bred 1850.00. 

Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1: Current delivery: West: 3-7 yr old 1200 lb cows 
3-4 months bred 2350.00; North Central: 3-4 year old 1125 lb cows 1-3 months
months bred 2400.00.  

Pairs: Medium and Large 1 : Current delivery: North Central: 1300 lb cows with 
300 lb calves 3450.00.

Slaughter Cows: Current delivery: South Central Boning Utility Holstein cows 
1500 lbs 104.50.
