Superior Livestock Preliminary Report
Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 1/14/2016 to 1/15/2016
***Final report will be sent on Monday 1/18/2016.***
Offerings: 78,500 Last Sale Dec 18th: 17,000 Last Year: 65,000
Supply included 74 percent steers and heifers over 600 lbs, 63 percent of
supply steers and 37 percent heifers. Receipts included 47 percent from
South Central, 26 percent North Central, 17 percent West, 10 percent East.
Prices FOB based on net weights after a 2-3 percent pencil shrink or
equivalent, with a 4-8 cent slide on yearlings and 8-12 cent slide on
calves. Deliveries current through August 2016.
