Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 11/28/2012

Receipts:  1325    Last Week:  no sale    Year Ago: 2821

   Compared to two weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers steady. Slaughter cows
steady. Supply moderate. Near 15 percent of the offering was cows and 45 percent
of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 54 percent steers 
and bulls and 46 percent heifers. Good quality feeder offering this week 
weighing mostly 500-700 lbs.  

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 178.00-191.00; 400-500 lbs
175.00-182.00; 500-600 lbs 154.00-165.00; 600-700 lbs 148.00-158.75; 700-800 lbs
few 136.00-146.00; small package 840 lbs 132.75. Medium and Large 1-2  400-
500 lbs 157.00-171.00; 500-650 lbs 146.00-155.00. Medium 1-2  small package
395 lbs 163.00. 

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1  300-400 lbs 154.00-159.00; 400-500 lbs
140.00-149.00, 16 head value added 415 lbs 155.50; 500-600 lbs 140.00-148.00; 
600-700 lbs 140.50-147.25, few fleshy 134.00-135.00; package 715 lbs 143.00;
