Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 2/20/2013
Receipts: 398 Last Week: 357 Year Ago: 953
Feeder supply not sufficient to establish a market trend. Slaughter cows
steady. Supply light. Near 67 percent of the offering was cows and 66 percent
of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 62 percent steers
and bulls and 38 percent heifers. Special cow sale followed the feeders with
several nice bred cows available.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2 320-460 lbs few 171.00-181.00;
600-700 lbs 133.00-137.50; 700-800 lbs 125.00-130.50; small package 840 lbs
116.00. Large 1 small package 330 lbs 174.00.
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2 400-460 lbs 140.00; 500-550 lbs
132.50-138.00; 700-800 lbs 118.00-120.25; package 965 lbs 99.75.
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-450 lbs 167.00-173.00; few 680 lbs

Cow and calf pairs: Medium and Large 1-2, few 5 years to short and solid, 925-
1175 lbs, with 150-300 lb calves 1350.00-1640.00 per pair.
