Feeder Cattle Auction Report for  8/14/2013

Receipts:  196    Last Week:  1392    Year Ago: 1751

   Feeder steers and heifers not well tested. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 
higher. Supply light. Near 23 percent cows and 25 percent of the feeders were
over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 59 percent steers and bulls and 41
percent heifers. Very light receipts following last week?s flooding in the area
with a nice run expected next week. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2  335-360 lbs 197.00-203.00; small
package 480 lbs 178.75; 500-600 lbs 162.00-175.00; 600-700 lbs 155.00-163.00; 
760-840 lbs 141.25-144.00. 

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2  400-500 lbs 151.00-167.00, small
package fleshy 468 lbs 148.00; 500-600 lbs 149.00-162.00; 600-700 lbs full/
fleshy 135.00-138.00; 700-800 lbs 130.00-132.00. Medium 1-2  500-550 lbs 136.00-
147.00. 

   Feeder Bulls: Medium and large 1-2  440-480 lbs 160.00-169.00; 600-620 lbs
138.00-150.50. 

   Slaughter Cows:
