Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 9/18/2013

Receipts:  307    Last Week:  1290    Year Ago:  900

  Feeder supply not sufficient to establish a market trend. Slaughter cows 
2.00-3.00 lower. Supply light. Near 30 percent of the offering was cows and 
35 percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 61
percent steers and bulls and 39 percent heifers.  

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2  300-400 lbs 189.00-207.00; 400-
500 lbs 161.00-176.00; 500-600 lbs 152.00-172.00; 600-700 lbs 151.00-155.00, 
package fleshy 655 lbs 147.00; 700-750 lbs 145.00-151.00. Medium and Large 2
500-600 lbs 149.00-155.00; 600-700 lbs 142.00-147.00. 

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2  300-400 lbs 144.00-166.00; 
400-500 lbs 146.00-156.00; 500-600 lbs 141.00-147.00; 700-750 lbs 132.00-
138.50. Medium and Large 2  490-550 lbs 140.00-141.00. 

   Feeder bulls: Medium and Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 159.00-173.00; 500-600 lbs
130.00-136.00; 650-800 lbs 113.00-134.00.

150 lb calves 1400.00-1550.00 per pair.
