Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 8/19/2015

Receipts:  358    Last Week:  674    Year Ago:  585

   Compared to last Wednesday, few steers under 600 lbs steady to 5.00 lower
with weights over 600 lbs not tested. Feeder heifers steady. Slaughter cows 
steady. Supply light. Near 15 percent of the offering were cows and 36 percent 
of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 36 percent steers
and bulls and 64 percent heifers. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2  400-500 lbs 265.00-301.00; 500-
600 lbs 242.00-275.00. 

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2  400-500 lbs 240.00-286.00; 500-
600 lbs 222.00-242.50; 600-660 lbs 226.50-228.25; 22 head 715 lbs 215.50; 
package 955 lbs 158.50. 

   Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2  475-500 lbs 245.00-252.00; 575-660 lbs
215.00-228.00.
