Feeder Cattle Auction Report for  10/14/2015

Receipts:  382    Week Ago:  769    Year Ago: 541

    Compared to last Wednesday, feeder steers and heifers 3.00-10.00 higher on
a limited market test. Slaughter cows steady. Supply light. Near 15 percent of 
the offering were cows and 34 percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder
supply approximately 56 percent steers and bulls and 44 percent heifers. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2  400-450 lbs 247.00-257.00; 550-
600 lbs 185.00-196.00; 600-700 lbs few 195.00, several calves 178.00-192.00; 
package 765 lbs 187.00; 13 head 865 lbs 179.75. Medium and Large 2  small 
package 655 lbs 168.00. Large 3  Holsteins  small package 465 lbs 113.50. 

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2  package thin 300 lbs 230.00; 
400-500 lbs 180.00-215.00; 500-600 lbs 174.00-197.00; 600-625 lbs 180.00-
183.00; small package 735 lbs 172.00; 800-850 lbs few 155.00-157.00. 

   Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 2  small package 475 lbs 179.00; small
package 605 lbs 138.00.
