Feeder Cattle Auction Report for  4/13/2016

   Compared to last Wednesday, feeder steers and heifers steady to firm
with some light steer calves under 450 lbs 3.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter
cows 2.00-4.00 lower. Supply moderate. Near 30 percent of the offering
were cows and 12 percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply
approximately 62 percent steers and bulls and 38 percent heifers. Special
cow sale followed the feeders highlighted by a complete dispersion of nice
black cows with fancy fall calves. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  package thin 270 lbs 254.00; 300-
400 lbs 205.00-230.00; 400-500 lbs 200.00-212.50; 500-600 lbs 185.00-
195.00; 600-700 lbs 164.00-180.00; package 790 lbs 149,75. Medium and
Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 203.00-206.00; 450-500 lbs 185.00-192.00. 

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1  270-300 lbs thin 209.00-211.00; 
15 head thin 370 lbs 196.50; 400-500 lbs 157.00-175.00, few thin 182.00-
184.00, package fleshy 470 lbs 156.00; 500-600 lbs 154.00-170.00, small
package fleshy 550 lbs 140.00. Medium and Large 1-2  350-400 lbs 160.00-
172.00; 400-500 lbs 156.00-170.00; 500-600 lbs 145.75-156.00.

   Feeder bulls: Medium and Large 1-2  400-500 lbs 166.00-192.00; 500-
550 lbs 171.50-186.00; 600-700 lbs 139.00-147.00.

   Medium and Large 1, 2 years, 825-950 lbs, with 100-200 lb calves 
2400.00-2825.00 per pair. 

   Medium and Large 1, 5-9 years, 1325-1450 lbs, with 125-150 lb calves
