Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 6/15/2016
Receipts: 407 Week Ago: 1974 Year Ago: 1933
Feeder supply not sufficient to establish a market trend. Slaughter
cows 1.00-2.00 higher. Near 28 percent of the offering were cows and 19
percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately
63 percent steers and bulls and 37 percent heifers. Not many cattle on
hand today which was partly planned and partly due to the heat with a
large run expected next week.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 154.50-181.00; 500-
600 lbs 146.00-152.00; 600-700 lbs 144.00-146.00. Medium 1-2 14 head
585 lbs 144.00.
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2 400-500 lbs 138.00-155.00;
500-550 lbs 136.00-138.00; 600-700 lbs 130.25-133.50. Medium and Large 2
500-525 lbs 124.50-134.50; small package 685 lbs 127.50. Large 1 package
575 lbs 131.00. Medium 2 small package 575 lbs 115.00.
Feeder bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 148.00-158.00; 500-
600 lbs 124.00-141.00.
