Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 6/14/2017
Receipts: 222 Week Ago: 2553 Year Ago: 407
Feeder supply not sufficient to establish a market trend. Slaughter
cows steady. Near 32 percent of the offering were cows. Very light offering
on a hot, humid day with a big run expected next week. Cattle futures have
been in the mood to go lower over the past week and may not be done yet.
Meanwhile beef cutout values are holding on with continued strong demand
needed to turn the board around.
