Feeder Cattle Auction Report for  10/25/2017

    Compared to the sale two weeks ago, feeder steers under 600 lbs 2.00-
4.00 higher, over 600 lbs 5.00-7.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs
1.00-3.00 lower, over 500 lbs steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows 3.00-
4.00 lower. Supply moderate. Near 16 percent of the offering were cows and
44 percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Feeder supply approximately 59
percent steers and bulls and 41 percent heifers. Good quality feeder offering
highlighted by several consignments of reputation green yearling cattle.    

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs few 190.00-198.00; 400-
500 lbs 172.00-191.50; 500-600 lbs 160.00-176.00; 600-700 lbs 162.00-172.00,
few calves 151.00-157.50; 700-750 lbs 163.50-168.50, few calves 146.00-147.00; 
800-900 lbs 147.00-158.50; package 925 lbs 150.50. Medium and Large 1-2  small
package 385 lbs 172.00; 450-500 lbs 171.00; 500-600 lbs 158.00-164.00; 600-
650 lbs 156.75-160.50, small package calves 630 lbs 147.50. 

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 154.00-161.00; 400-500 lbs
151.00-162.00, package fleshy 475 lbs 144.00; 500-600 lbs 144.00-153.50; 600-
700 lbs 141.00-156.00, small package fleshy 640 lbs 138.00; 750-800 lbs
