   Compared to Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold mostly
1.00-2.00 higher. Demand was good. Holstein steers sold 1.00-
2.00 higher. Heifers sold firm compared on a very light test.
Slaughter cows sold mostly 3.00-4.00 higher on very good
demand. Cattle supplies included 239 slaughter steers;
69 heifers; 508 cows; 37 bulls; and 20 feeder calves. All
prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1250-1600 lbs
132.00-136.00, mostly 133.00-134.50. Choice 2-3  1200-1600 lbs
127.00-131.50. Select 2-3 1050-1400 lbs 118.00-126.00. 

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1450-1650 lbs
121.00-125.00. Choice 2-3  1350-1650 lbs 116.00-120.50. Select
1-3 1250-1600 lbs 110.00-115.00.

   Slaughter Heifers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1100-1350 lbs
127.75-132.00. Choice 2-3  1100-1400 lbs 120.00-123.00. Select

   Slaughter Bulls: Yield Grade 1  880-2305 lbs avg dress 96.00-100.00;
high dress 100.50-108.50; low dress 83.00-90.00. 

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last Friday's sale;
Holstein Bull calves sold mostly 40.00-50.00 higher. Demand was
very good. Heifers traded 20.00-30.00 lower on a light test. Demand
was moderate. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program
graded 423 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves:  Number 1  114-128 lbs 162.00-176.00;
96-112 lbs 187.00-197.00; 92 lbs 160.00. Number 2  120-128 lbs 173.00;
106-118 lbs 190.00-199.00; 94-104 lbs 200.00-217.00; 80-92 lbs 140.00-
150.00. Number 3  80-130 lbs 137.00-161.00; 72-78 lbs 80.00. Utility
90-110 lbs 35.00-40.00; 60-88 lbs 20.00-25.00.

   Holstein Heifers: Number 1  85-110 lbs 100.00-120.00. Number 2
75-100 lbs 60.00-80.00. Utility/Non tubing 80-100 lbs 15.00-25.00.
