   Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold mostly
6.00-7.00 higher. Demand was very good. Holstein steers sold
mostly firm on a very light test. Heifers sold mostly 5.00-6.00
higher on a very light test. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady
on good demand. Cattle supplies included 259 slaughter steers;
53 heifers; 323 cows; 34 bulls; and 32 feeder calves. All prices
per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1650 lbs
148.00-154.50. Choice 2-3  1200-1600 lbs 142.00-147.50. Select
2-3 1250-1600 lbs 135.00-141.00. 

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1500-1650 lbs
130.00-137.00, mostly 130.00-131.00. Choice 2-3  1350-1700 lbs
124.50-129.00. Select 2-3 1350-1650 lbs 116.00-123.00.

   Slaughter Heifers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1100-1300 lbs

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week Holstein bulls 
sold mostly steady to 10.00 higher. Heifers sold steady. Ag Market News LLC
under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 497 head for Thursday's sale. All
calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves:  Number 1  120-128 lbs 147.00; 90-118
lbs 162.00-177.00; 86-88 lbs 158.00. Number 2  120-128 lbs 144.00;
80-118 lbs 150.00-177.00. Number 3 90-130 lbs 100.00; 80-88 lbs
112.00-120.00; 72-78 lbs 30.00. Utility 90-110 lbs 57.00; 60-88 lbs
17.00-35.00.

   Holstein Heifers: Number 1  85-110 lbs 85.00-105.00. Number 2
