   Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold
mostly steady to 1.00 higher. Demand was very good. Holstein
steers sold mostly 3.00-4.00 higher compared to last week.
Heifers sold mostly steady on a very light test. Slaughter
cows sold mostly steady to 1.00 lower. Demand was good.
Cattle supplies included 295 slaughter steers; 107 heifers;
376 cows; 32 bulls; and 19 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1300-1650 lbs
mostly 149.00-153.50, few to 155.00. Choice 2-3  1350-1650 lbs
145.00-149.00. Select 2-3  1300-1700 lbs 140.00-144.50.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1650
lbs mostly 139.00-141.00, few 149.00. Choice 2-3  1300-1650
lbs 132.00-138.00. Select 2-3  1250-1700 lbs 123.00-130.50.

   Slaughter Heifers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1100-1450
lbs 145.00-149.00. Choice 2-3  1100-1550 lbs 139.00-144.00.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week Holstein
Bull calves sold mostly 20.00-30.00 lower. Holstein Heifer calves
sold mostly 50.00-60.00 higher. Demand was very good. Ag Market
News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 416 head for
Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.

106-112 lbs 200.00-215.00; 84-104 lbs 220.00-230.00. Number 2
108-128 lbs 170.00-187.00; 94-104 lbs 200.00-210.00; 80-92 lbs
215.00-222.00. Number 3 100-130 lbs 167.00; 80-98 lbs 175.00-187.00;
72-78 lbs 90.00. Utility 80-110 lbs 55.00-60.00; 60-78 lbs 25.00.
