   Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold 2.00-3.00 lower. 
Heavy supplies allowed buyers ease their bids some despite expressing good 
demand. The slaughter cow market had weakened some on more adequate receipts. 
Demand remains very good. Cattle supplies included 480 slaughter steers; 82 
heifers; 371 cows; 52 bulls; and 38 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1280-1555 lbs 150.00-153.50; 
1625-1675 lbs 148.50-150.00. Choice 2-3  1195-1645 lbs 145.00-150.00. Select 
2-3  1090-1535 lbs 141.00-146.00.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1580-1760 lbs 134.50-
138.50. Choice 2-3  1425-1770 lbs 127.50-132.50. Select 2-3  1295-1605 lbs

sold steady with very good demand. Heifers sold firm with good demand. Ag 
Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 378 head for 
Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.

106-128 lbs 267.00-280.00; 80-104 lbs 287.00-295.00. Number 3  100-130 lbs
