   Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold mostly 1.00-
2.00 higher. Slaughter Holsteins sold mostly 1.00-2.00 higher. Demand
was good. Slaughter heifers sold weak on a very light test. Slaughter
cows sold 2.00-3.00 higher with very good demand. Cattle supplies
included 446 slaughter steers; 85 heifers; 377 cows; 58 bulls; and
38 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1250-1600 lbs 150.00-
155.00. Choice 2-3  1300-1650 lbs 146.00-149.50. Select 2-3 1200-1675
lbs 142.00-146.00.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1350-1625 lbs
138.00-145.00. Choice 2-3  1350-1700 lbs 132.00-136.00. Select 2-3

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week Holstein bull
calves sold mostly steady to 10.00 higher on good demand. Heifers sold
40.00-50.00 higher on very good demand. Ag Market News LLC under the
USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 475 head for Thursday's sale. All calves
are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  120-128 lbs 235.00; 110-118 lbs 
264.00-266.00; 94-108 lbs 275.00-283.00; 90-92 lbs 292.00. Number 2
112-128 lbs 242.00-250.00; 94-110 lbs 265.00-277.00; 80-92 lbs 285.00.
Number 3 100-130 lbs 235.00; 72-98 lbs 258.00-280.00. Utility 60-110 lbs
50.00-85.00.

   Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  90-115 lbs 280.00-330.00.  Number 2
80-105 lbs 200.00-270.00. Non-Tubing/Utility 60-80 lbs 40.00-60.00.
