Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold mostly 2.00-
3.00 higher. Slaughter Holsteins sold mostly 4.00-5.00 higher compared
to a light test last week. Demand was very good. Not enough Slaughter
heifers for a market test. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-3.00 higher compared
to a very light test last week. Demand was very good. Cattle supplies
included 407 slaughter steers; 87 heifers; 382 cows; 38 bulls; and
13 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.
Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1350-1650 lbs 155.00-
160.50. Choice 2-3 1250-1550 lbs 151.00-155.50. Select 2-3 1300-1650
lbs 145.00-150.00.

calves sold mostly steady to 20.00 higher on very good demand. Heifers
sold mostly firm on a very light test. Ag Market News LLC under the
USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 462 head for Thursday's sale. All calves
are sold by the cwt.
