   Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold mostly
2.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter Holsteins sold mostly 2.00-3.00 lower.
Demand was light. Slaughter heifers sold firm compared to a very
light test last week. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady to 2.00
higher with most movement in the Lean cows. Demand was moderate.
Cattle supplies included 354 slaughter steers; 80 heifers;
425 cows; 39 bulls; and 11 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1300-1650 lbs 157.00-
163.00. Choice 2-3  1350-1700 lbs 152.00-156.50. Select 2-3 1250-1600
lbs 145.00-150.50.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week Holstein bull
calves sold mostly firm on moderate demand. Heifers sold mostly 10.00-
20.00 higher. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded
487 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  120-128 lbs 240.00; 106-118
lbs 290.00-311.00; 86-104 lbs 311.00-342.00. Number 2 120-128 lbs
237.00; 106-118 lbs 288.00-298.00; 80-104 lbs 320.00-345.00. Number 3
100-130 lbs 265.00; 80-98 lbs 327.00-337.00; 72-88 lbs 297.00.
Utility 90-110 lbs 150.00-180.00; 60-88 lbs 85.00-100.00.
