   Compared to last Thursday's sale, Slaughter steers sold
2.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter Holsteins and heifers were lightly
tested not enough for an accurate trend.  Demand moderate to
good.  Slaughter cows sold mostly 1.00-2.00 lower. Demand was
moderate. Cattle supplies included 244 slaughter steers;
55 heifers; 366 cows; 43 bulls; and 41 feeder calves. All
prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1250-1600 lbs 158.00-
164.00. Choice 2-3  1300-1600 lbs 156.00-158.00.  Select 1-3 1200-1550 
lbs 150.00-158.00.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  few 1400-1600 lbs
147.00-149.50. Choice 2-3  1300-1650 lbs 144.00-146.00. 

   Slaughter Heifers: Choice 3-4 1150-1350 lbs Few 150.00-151.50.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week Holstein bull
calves sold sharply higher mostly 50.00 to 60.00 higher with very good demand. 
Heifers sold steady firm in a light test. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR
program graded 432 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the
cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  114-128 lbs 299.00-310; 94-112 lbs 
342.00-370.00.  Number 2 112-128 lbs 295.00-315.00; 80-110 lbs 357.00-382.00. 
Number 3 72-130 lbs 310.00-330.00.  Utility 80-110 lbs 85.00-100.00; 60-78 lbs 
50.00.

   Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  90-105 lbs 290.00-330.00.
