Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly steady to 1.00
lower compared to a light test last week. Slaughter Holstein steers
sold mostly steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter heifers sold mostly 1.00-
2.00 higher compared to a very light test last week. Demand was
moderate for all classes. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-3.00 lower. Demand
was moderate. Cattle supplies included 309 steers; 85 heifers; 451 cows;
20 bulls; and 25 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.
Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1300-1700 lbs 162.00-
165.50; Choice 2-3 1250-1650 lbs 158.00-163.00; Select 1-3 1200-1700 lbs
154.00-160.00.
Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1450-1650 lbs 150.00-
153.00; Choice 2-3 1400-1700 lbs 144.00-147.00. Select 1-2 1400-1700 lbs

Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein bull
calves sold mixed with Number 1 calves 90.00-100.00 lower, Number 2
calves mostly steady, and Number 3 and Utility calves sold mostly 80.00-
100.00 higher. Demand was moderate. No comparison for Holstein heifer
calves. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded
413 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.

392.00-400.00; 98-108 lbs 410.00-420.00; 90-96 lbs 442.00-462.00. Number 2
