Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly 2.00-3.00 lower.
Slaughter Holstein steers sold mostly 2.00-3.00 higher on a light test.
Not enough Slaughter heifers for a market test. Demand was moderate for
all classes. Slaughter cows sold mostly 1.00-2.00 lower. Demand was good.
Cattle supplies included 336 steers; 116 heifers; 450 cows; 18 bulls;
and 22 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.
Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1350-1650 lbs 161.00-
163.50, mostly 161.00-162.00; Choice 2-3 1300-1700 lbs 158.00-160.50;
Select 1-3 1350-1750 lbs 153.00-158.00.
Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1450-1700 lbs 151.00-

All calves are sold by the cwt.
