   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly 1.00-2.00 lower. 
Slaughter Holstein steers sold mostly 1.00-2.00 lower. Slaughter heifers 
not tested last week so no comparison this week. Demand was moderate. 
Slaughter cows sold mostly 2.00-3.00 lower. Demand was moderate. Slaughter 
bulls sold 2.00-3.00 lower. Quality not as good as last week. Demand was
moderate. Cattle supplies included 391 steers; 52 heifers; 411 cows;
32 bulls; and 6 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1300-1650 lbs 151.50-
153.00; Choice 2-3  1250-1650 lbs 148.50-151.75; Select 1-3  1200-1700 lbs
144.50-148.50.

   Slaughter Holsteins: High Choice and Prime 3-4  1500-1650 lbs 139.00-

   Slaughter Bulls: Yield Grade 1 935-2195 lbs Average Dress 134.00-138.00,
Low Dress 129.00-134.00, Very Low Dress 123.00-125.00.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Holstein bull
calves weighing 110-130 lbs sold 20.00-40.00 higher while lighter calves
sold steady to 20.00 lower. Demand for lighter weight calves was lighter
than in previous weeks. Holstein heifer calves sold mostly 10.00-30.00 
lower on a light test. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program 
graded 559 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt. 

   Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1  110-128 lbs 440.00-475.00; 90-108
lbs 490.00-502.00. Number 2  106-128 lbs 430.00-470.00; 80-104 lbs 485.00-
505.00. Number 3  100-130 lbs 427.00-437.00; 90-98 lbs 485.00-491.00; 80-88
lbs 445.00-450.00; 72-78 lbs 380.00. Utility 90-110 lbs 350.00-350.00; 80-
88 lbs 365.00-380.00; 60-78 lbs 290.00.  

   Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1  90-110 lbs 350.00-430.00; 85-90 lbs 
400.00-450.00. Number 2  85-100 lbs 270.00-300.00; 75-80 lbs 300.00-350.00.
Utility/Non-tubing 65-95 lbs 150.00-210.00.
