Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly 5.00-7.00 lower.
High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic market
and most are extremely lean.Today these steers sold 5.00-7.00 lower.
Slaughter Holstein steers sold mostly 2.00-4.00 lower. Slaughter heifers
sold mostly 2.00-5.00 lower on a very light test. Demand was light for
all classes. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower. Demand was
moderate. Slaughter bulls sold 3.00-7.00 lower. Demand was moderate.
Cattle supplies included 249 steers; 57 heifers;476 cows; 21 bulls; and
36 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

127.50; 1650-1750 lbs 117.00-120.00. Choice 2-3 1200-1600 lbs 120.00-

bull calves sold mostly 100.00-130.00 lower. Demand was moderate. Holstein
heifer calves sold mostly steady to weak compared to a light test last week.

Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.
