Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold 2.00-3.00 higher. High
dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic market and
most are extremely lean. Those steers sold 3.00-4.00 higher. Slaughter
Holstein steers sold 1.00-2.00 higher. Slaughter heifers not tested.
Demand was good. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-3.00 higher. Demand was moderate.
Slaughter bulls sold 3.00-4.00 higher. Cattle supplies included 263 steers;
34 heifers; 387 cows; 22 bulls; and 21 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Graded Holstein
bull calves sold 10.00-20.00 lower. Holstein heifer calves sold mostly
steady to weak on a light test. Demand was moderate. Ag Market News LLC
under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 470 head for Thursday's sale. All
calves are sold by the cwt.
Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1 94-128 lbs 160.00-172.00. Number
2 80-128 lbs 147.00-162.00. Number 3 90-130 lbs 125.00-135.00; 72-88 lbs
150.00-167.00. Utility 60-110 lbs 55.00-90.00.
Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1 80-100 lbs 180.00-220.00. Number 2
70-100 lbs 150.00-180.00. Non-tubing/Utility 80-110 lbs 125.00-140.00; 50-
