Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold 4.00-5.00 higher. High
dressing Lean Steers are steers are sold primarily to the ethnic market
and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold 3.00-4.00 higher compared
to a light test last week. Holstein steers sold 1.00-2.00 higher. Not
enough slaughter heifers for a market test. Slaughter cows sold mostly
steady to 1.00 higher with good demand. Slaughter bulls sold mostly
steady on a very light test. Demand was moderate. Cattle supplies
included 152 steers; 65 heifers; 394 cows; 19 bulls; and 23 feeder calves.

heifer calves sold mostly steady on a light test. Ag Market News LLC
under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 376 head for Thursday's sale. All
calves are sold by the cwt.
Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1 94-128 lbs 82.00-90.00. Number
2 106-128 lbs 76.00-88.00; 80-104 lbs 65.00-73.00. Number 3 72-130 lbs
55.00-65.00. Utility 60-110 lbs 20.00-38.00.
Holstein Heifer Calves: Number 1 80-100 lbs 140.00-180.00. Number 2
70-100 lbs 90.00-150.00. Utility/Non-tubing 50-90 lbs 11.00-50.00.
