Demand moderate. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily
to the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold
4.00-5.00 lower. Demand light. Not enough Slaughter Holstein steers
for a market test. Slaughter heifers sold 1.00-2.00 lower on a light
test. Demand moderate. Slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 higher.
Demand good. Not enough Slaughter bulls for a market test. Cattle
supplies included 229 steers; 111 heifers; 468 cows; 16 bulls; and
4 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.
Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1325-1650 lbs 123.00-
127.00, individual 131.00. Choice 2-3 1350-1650 lbs 118.00-123.00.

bull calves sold mostly 20.00-40.00 higher. Holstein heifer calves steady
to firm on a light test. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program
graded 422 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.
Graded Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1 112-130 lbs 100.00-110.00; 90-
110 lbs 122.00-132.00. Number 2 106-128 lbs 100.00-112.00; 94-104 lbs
120.00-127.00; 88-92 lbs 144.00; 80-86 lbs 110.00; 70-78 lbs 35.00.
Number 3 90-130 lbs 98.00-132.00, mostly 98.00-112.00; 80-88 lbs 120.00-
135.00; 72-78 lbs 30.00. Utility 60-110 lbs 17.00-52.00.
