Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly 1.00-2.00 higher.
Demand good. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the
ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold 1.00-2.00
higher on moderate demand. Not enough Slaughter Holstein steers last
week for a comparison. Not enough Slaughter heifers for a market test.
Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 higher. Demand good. Slaughter bulls sold
steady on another very light test. Cattle supplies included 184 steers;
29 heifers; 404 cows; 15 bulls; and 66 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.
Slaughter Steers: High Choice and Prime 3-4 1375-1550 lbs 108.50-
112.50. Choice 2-3 1350-1650 lbs 105.00-108.50. Select 1-2 1250-1500

bull calves sold mostly steady to 10.00 higher. Holstein heifer calves
traded steady to weak on another light test. Ag Market News LLC under the
USDA-QSA-LMAR program graded 440 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are
sold by the cwt.

70.00. Number 2 112-128 lbs 70.00-77.00; 94-110 lbs 85.00-95.00; 88-92 lbs
