Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/14/2017
 
Receipts:  398    Last Week:  411     Year Ago:  NR

   Compared to last week:  Feeders sold mostly steady.  Slaughter cows and bulls 
sold mostly steady.  Value Added denotes cattle that have been weaned for 45-90 
days and administered two rounds of an IBR vaccine.  Fleshy denotes unweaned, 
milk fat calves.
   Supply included about 263 feeder calves, 58 yearlings, 23 replacement cows, 
47 slaughter cows, 5 slaughter bulls and 2 replacement bulls.  Feeder supply 
about 42 percent English bred and English bred crosses, 55 percent exotic breed 
and exotic crosses, 3 percent Brahma and Brahma crosses, 0 percent Holsteins or 
other dairy breeds.  Feeder supply about 50 percent steers and bulls with 50 
percent heifers.
