Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 01/23/2018

   Compared to last week:  Market trend not established due to absence of 
reporter.  Approximately 650 head of Value Added cattle were sold in conjuction 
with regular sale.  Value Added denotes cattle that have been weaned 45-180 days 
and administered two rounds of an IBR vaccine.  Fleshy denotes unweaned, milk 
fat calves.
   Supply included about 498 feeder calves, 517 yearlings, 53 replacement cows, 
30 slaughter cows and 4 slaughter bulls.  Feeder supply about 65 percent English 
bred and English bred crosses, 30 percent exotic breed and exotic crosses, 5 
percent Brahma and Brahma crosses, 0 percent Holsteins or other dairy breeds. 
Feeder supply about 63 percent steers and bulls with 37 percent heifers.
