Feeder Cattle Weighted Average report for 4/11/2013

Receipts:  1990    Last Week:  1320    Year Ago:  1600

   Compared to last week at the same market, stocker and feeder cattle 2.00-
10.00 lower. Trade slow to moderate with moderate to good demand. Slaughter 
cows 4.00-5.00 lower, due to lackluster meat movement. Slaughter bulls 2.00-
3.00 higher. Quality of bulls more attractive this week with weighing condition?s 
in buyers favor. Trade moderate to active with moderate demand. Slaughter cows were 
approximately 42 percent of the supply; Slaughter bulls 10 percent, and feeder?s 48 
percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 44 percent steers and 56 percent 
heifers. Near 56 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
