Feeder Cattle Weighted Average report for 4/10/2014

Receipts:  1800    Last Week:  1845    Year Ago:  1990

   Compared to last Thursday at the same market, stocker and feeder steers 
and feeder heifers steady to 4.00 higher. Stocker heifers less than 600 lbs. 
steady to 5.00 lower. Trade active with very good demand. Slaughter cows and 
bulls 3.00-5.00 lower, due in part to a lower meat trade this week. Trade 
slow to moderate with moderate demand. Slaughter cows 65 percent, Slaughter 
bulls 10 percent, and feeders 25 percent of the supply. The feeder supply 
included 61 percent steers and 39 percent heifers. Near 59 percent of the run 
weighed over 600 lbs.
