Feeder Cattle Weighted Average report for 6/1/2017

Receipts:  1450    Last Week:  1460    Year Ago:  1130

   Compared to last Thursday at the same market, not enough stocker or feeder 
cattle this week for adequate market trends. Trade active with good demand for 
small lots and singles. Slaughter cows and bulls 3.00-5.00 higher. Trade very 
active with very good demand. Slaughter cows 69 percent, slaughter bulls 10 
percent, and feeders 21 percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 48 
percent steers and 52 percent heifers. Near 67 percent of the run weighed over 600 
lbs. Replacement Cows: Pre-tested for pregnancy, and age.
