Feeder Cattle Weighted Average report for 10/19/2017

Receipts:  2000    Last Week:  2120    Year Ago:  1700

   Compared to last Thursday at the same sale, stocker and feeder cattle weak 
to 3.00 lower. Trade active with moderate to good demand. Slaughter cows and 
bulls steady to weak. Trade active with moderate to good demand. Slaughter 
cows 70 percent, slaughter bulls 10 percent, and feeders 20 percent of the 
supply. The feeder supply included 69 percent steers and 31 percent heifers. 
Near 42 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. Replacement Cows: Pre-tested 
for pregnancy, and age.
