Feeder Cattle Weighted Average report for 5/10/2018

Receipts:  1285    Last Week:  1650    Year Ago:  2000

   Compared to last Thursday at the same market, stocker and feeder cattle 
firm in a light test. Trade active with good demand. Quality of feeder cattle 
offered this week mostly were small lots and singles. Slaughter cows 1.00-
4.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 1.00-2.00 higher. Trade active with good demand. 
Slaughter cows 71 percent, slaughter bulls 10 percent, and feeders 19 percent 
of the supply. The feeder supply included 73 percent steers and 27 percent 
heifers. Near 86 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. Replacement Cows: 
Pre-tested for pregnancy, bangs, and age.
