WEEKLY BOXED & DISTRIBUTIVE/LCL VEAL CUTS TRADE
Northeast and North Central Basis  -     FOB Major Production Points

Compared to last week:           Special fed veal cut prices were
mostly steady on all items.  Demand remains light for light to
moderate offerings.  Veal feature activity decreased last week with
loin chops seeing the most decline. Prices were mostly steady on all 
items as wholesale veal cut prices remained steady for several
weeks as packers are reluctant to raise prices in fear of driving 
demand.
