Weekly Trends: Compared to last week slaughter lambs were 10.00-20.00
lower. Slaughter ewes were steady to 10.00 higher. Feeder lambs were
mostly 10.00-20.00 lower. At San Angelo, TX 7926 head sold in a one day
sale. No sales in Equity Electronic Auction. In direct trading slaughter
ewes and feeder lambs were not tested. 4200 head of negotiated sales of
slaughter lambs were 1.00-2.00 higher and 12,900 head of formula sales of
dressed lambs under 55 lbs were not well tested; 55-65 lbs were 3.00
lower; 65-75 lbs steady to 1.00 higher; 75-85 lbs 3.00-4.00 higher; over
85 lbs were steady to 1.00 lower. 7,605 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs
and down sharply higher; 45-55 lbs 18.94 lower and 55 lbs and up .34 lower
to 1.53 higher. All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise
specified.
