   Weekly Trends:  Compared to last week slaughter lambs were mostly
steady to 10.00 higher, except at Sioux Falls, SD and Kalona, IA where
they were 8.00-10.00 lower.  Slaughter ewes were mostly steady to 4.00
lower.  Feeder lambs were 3.00-30.00 lower.  At San Angelo, TX 5002 head
sold in a one day sale.  No sales in Equity Electronic Auction.  In direct
trading slaughter ewes and feeder lambs not tested.  6100 head of
negotiated sales of slaughter lambs under 170 lbs were steady to 3.00
lower, while over 170 lbs were not well tested and 7900 head of formula
sales of carcasses under 55 lbs were not well tested; 55-65 lbs had no
recent price comparison; 65-85 lbs were 7.00-10.00 higher; 85-95 lbs were
1.00-2.00 lower and over 95 lbs were not well tested.  N/A   lamb
carcasses sold with 45 lbs and down     N/A
