Weekly Trends: Compared to last week slaughter lambs were mostly
steady to 30.00 higher, with the greatest advance at New Holland, PA.
Slaughter ewes were steady to 8.00 higher, except at Sioux Falls, SD
4.00-5.00 lower. Feeder lambs were steady. At San Angelo, TX 4246 head
sold in a one day sale. Equity Electronic Auction sold 325 slaughter
lambs in North Dakota. In direct trading slaughter ewes were not tested;
feeder lambs were steady. 6700 head of negotiated sales of slaughter
lambs were steady to 2.00 lower. 6300 head of formula sales under 55 lbs
were not well tested; 55-65 lbs were 7.00-10.00 lower; 65-85 lbs were
4.00-9.00 higher; 85-95 lbs were steady and over 95 lbs were not well
tested. N/A carcasses sold with 45 lbs and down N/A ; 45-55 lbs
N/A ; 55-65 lbs N/A ; 65-75 lbs N/A and 75 lbs and
up N/A . All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless
