Weekly Trends: Compared to last week heavy slaughter lambs were
steady to 20.00 lower; light slaughter lambs were steady to 20.00 higher.
Slaughter ewes were steady. No comparison on feeder lambs. At San
Angelo, TX 4746 head sold in a one day sale. No sales in Equity
Electronic Auction. In direct trading slaughter ewes and feeder lambs
were not tested. 5200 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were
2.00-4.00 lower. 11,000 head of formula sales under 55 lbs were not well
tested; 55-65 lbs were 1.00-2.00 higher; 65-75 lbs were 4.00-5.00 lower;
75-95 lbs were steady to 1.00 higher and over 95 lbs were not tested.
6,594 carcasses sold with 45 lbs and down 20.95 lower; 45-55 lbs 9.43
higher; 55-65 lbs 1.06 lower and 65 lbs and up 4.13-4.92 lower. All
sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.
