Weekly Trends: Compared to last week heavy slaughter lambs were steady
to 10.00 higher; light slaughter lambs were steady to as much as 25.00
lower. Slaughter ewes were steady to 10.00 lower. Feeder lambs were not
well tested. At San Angelo, TX 4630 head sold in a one day sale. Equity
Electronic Auction sold 635 slaughter lambs in Oregon.. In direct trading
slaughter ewes were not tested and no comparison on feeder lambs. 3400
head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were firm. 13,400 head of
formula sales had no trend due to confidentiality. 3,610 lamb carcasses
sold with no trend due to confidentiality. All sheep sold per hundred
weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.
