Weekly Trends: Compared to last week slaughter lambs were steady to
20.00 lower, except at Sioux Falls, SD 4.00-6.00 higher. Slaughter ewes
were steady to 10.00 lower, except at Sioux Falls steady to 5.00 higher.
Feeder lambs were not well tested. At San Angelo, TX 5905 head sold.
No sales in Equity Electronic Auction. In direct trading slaughter ewes
and feeder lambs were not tested. 3200 head of negotiated sales of
slaughter lambs were steady. 6,089 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs and
down 8.81 higher; 45-65 lbs no trend due to confidentiality; 65-75 lbs
2.53 higher and 75 lbs and up 5.16-5.63 higher. All sheep sold per
hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.
