National Sheep Summary for Week Ending Friday, May 19, 2017

   Weekly Trends:  Compared to last week slaughter lambs were steady to
20.00 lower.  Slaughter ewes were steady to 6.00 higher.  Feeder lambs
were steady to sharply lower.  At San Angelo, TX 6349 head sold.  No
sales in Equity Electronic Auction.  In direct trading slaughter ewes
and feeder lambs were not tested.  2900 head of negotiated sales of
slaughter lambs were steady to 1.00 higher.  1,854 lamb carcasses sold
with 45 lbs and down 9.89 higher, all other weights no trend due to
confidentiality.  All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise
specified.
