Weekly Trends: Compared to last week slaughter lambs were 5.00-20.00
lower, except at San Angelo, TX where they were 5.00-10.00 higher.
Slaughter ewes were mostly steady to 12.00 lower. Feeder lambs were
steady to 10.00 lower. At San Angelo, TX 6172 head sold. Equity
Electronic Auction sold 608 slaughter ewes in Texas. In direct trading
slaughter ewes and feeder lambs were not tested. 3500 head of negotiated
sales of slaughter lambs were steady to 1.00 higher. 2,351 lamb carcasses
sold with all weights no trend due to confidentiality. All sheep sold
per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.
