National Sheep Summary for Week Ending Friday, September 14, 2018

   Weekly Trends:  Compared to last week slaughter lambs were 3.00 to
sharply higher, except at Sioux Falls, CO 3.00-5.00 lower.  Slaughter
ewes were steady to sharply higher.  Feeder lambs were steady to 9.00
higher.  At San Angelo, TX 2335 head sold in a rain shortened sale.
Equity Electronic Auction sold 330 slaughter lambs in North Dakota.  In
direct trading slaughter ewes were not tested; feeder lambs were steady.
3700 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were sharply lower.
3,156 lamb carcasses sold with all weights no trend due to
confidentiality.  All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless
otherwise specified.
