Compared to two weeks ago: Slaughter Cows not tested. A nice run of bred cows
with all classes selling. Bred heifers, young cows and middle aged cows sold
unevenly steady. Aged cows sold higher with some big strings of aged dispersion
cows on display. Active bidding throughout the sale for the last Monday Bred cow
sale of the season. Bred cows & heifers accounted for approximately 90 percent
of the run with balance slaughter & feeder cows.
Bred Cows: Medium-Large 1: (Tested for Age, Pregnancy and Bangs
Per Head Basis: Medium and Large 1; Mostly all 2nd and 3rd trimester:
Heifers 975-1091 lb 1275.00-1625.00
Young 1171-1231 lb 1450.00-1725.00
Middle Aged Solid Mouth 1077-1432 lb 1360.00-1685.00
Aged Short Solid 1000-1415 lb 1000.00-1225.00
Aged Short Term 1139-1370 lb 900.00-1075.00
