Compared to two weeks ago: Slaughter Cows not tested; Bred cows &
heifers accounted for 100 percent of the run of bred cows. Due to weather the
bred cow sale was postponed to Saturday 25th. Good steady demand for all ages
of cows and heifers. Lots of condition and quality displayed.
Bred Cows: Medium-Large 1: (Tested for Age, Pregnancy and Bangs
vaccination)
Per Head Basis: Medium and Large 1; All normal calving period:
Heifers 913-1139 lb 1425.00-1600.00
Young 942-1415 lb 1625.00-1960.00
Middle Aged Solid Mouth 1266-1485 lb 1275.00-1485.00
Aged Short Solid 1080-1398 lb 1100.00-1300.00
Aged Short Term 1094-1329 lb 950.00-1100.00
